Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit auriqelle.shop, buy from us or contact us, why we use it, who we share it with and what your rights are. It applies under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and, for customers in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Swiss Data Protection Act.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not use analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data. We only send marketing emails if you ask us to; we do not currently run a newsletter.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only as far as needed for the purposes above, with:
- Payment providers that process your payment as independent controllers or processors: Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and Stripe, Inc.) for card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments, and PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.) when you pay with PayPal. Their own privacy notices apply to the data they process.
- Carriers and postal services that deliver your parcel (name, address, phone or email for delivery notifications).
- Our hosting provider (Hostinger International Ltd.), which stores the website and its database on our behalf.
- Authorities such as tax or customs authorities, where the law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. Some of our service providers process data in the European Economic Area, the United States or other countries. Where data is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer is protected by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. You can ask us for details.
How long we keep data
- Order and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as UK tax law requires (longer where the law of your country requires it).
- Customer accounts: until you ask us to delete the account; accounts without an order for 3 years are deleted.
- Messages and withdrawal records: 3 years after the matter is closed.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email support@auriqelle.shop; we answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the UK the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), or in the EU the data protection authority of your country of residence.
Security
The whole site uses an encrypted HTTPS connection. Payments are handled by our payment providers on PCI DSS certified systems; card details are entered in their secure fields and are never stored on our servers. Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil your order.
Children
Our shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with a new date. For significant changes affecting existing customers, we will also tell you by email.
